600th GrassMaster pitch

January 2016 GrassMaster was installed at Stade de France. It's the biggest stadium of France and home of the national football team ‘Les Bleus’ and the national rugby team. The stadium was built for the 1998 FIFA World Cup and hosted 7 games of the EURO 2016 including opening ceremonies and finals.

Why GrassMaster?

The operational owners and stadium management were looking for a long-term solution without having to returf several times a year. The need to returf so frequently caused an important budget increase with a very poor operational result: the pitch had no stability nor durability. Even with rugby games where the referee needed to relocalise several scrums due to the bad condition of the pitch. GrassMaster already proved itself in various challenging stadiums such as Wembley Stadium, AVIVA Stadium, Principality Stadium, etc. which resulted in the management's decision to go with GrassMaster.

Old Trafford

In July 2013 GrassMaster was installed at Old Trafford, the home of Manchester United and the largest club football stadium in the United Kingdom. 

Aon Training Complex

In 2015, 2016 and 2017 GrassMaster was installed at the Aon Training Complex (formerly known as Trafford Training Centre).

PlayMaster @ Amsterdam ArenA

In 2017, PlayMaster was installed at the Amsterdam ArenA. Considering the busy event schedule, PlayMaster was the perfect solution for this venue. At the start of 2018-19 football season, the stadium underwent a name change to "Johan Cruijff ArenA" after the legendary Dutch football player Johan Cruyff. In 2018, PlayMaster was re-installed at the stadium.
